Remediated 30,000 tons of soil, initially ex-situ with a pugmill, with subsequent phases treated in-situ at this battery manufacturing site. Reused stabilized soil on-site through IEPA’s Pre-Notice program. Treated material used to construct a surface water diversion berm, saving the client about $600,000 as compared to treatment with cement and hauling to a Subtitle D landfill.
